Chef Pam is excited to offer a fun week of baking with a competition on the fourth day! We will start out the week on day one learning how to bake the perfect cupcake from scratch and how to make butter cream frosting. On day two, we will talk about ways to enhance the flavor of our cupcakes with fresh fruit flavorings and savory additions such as peanut butter and bacon and try them out. On day three we will talk about how to improve upon the basic butter cream frosting and create a variety of frostings to taste test. The last day will be a cupcake competition where each teen will make three cupcakes using varying flavor profiles for the cupcake as well as decorate with a theme of the judges choice for each of the three cupcakes. Oh, what fun it will be to see and taste everyone's creativity as the Chef and Sous Chef judge the cupcakes and pick a winner!
