Come join us at the kitchen for a fun Teen Baking Camp. On the first day we will learn the art of making the perfect cupcake as each group of teens prepares a basic vanilla and devil's food chocolate cupcakes together. The second day we will learn all about frostings. We will make a traditional buttercream frosting and a Swiss Meringue buttercream as well. The third day we will talk about flavor profiles to enhance your cupcakes with natural fruits for flavoring along with various other ingredients. We will also make a marshmallow buttercream frosting. The fourth day in teams of 4-5 teens you will compete creating a chocolate and vanilla cupcake for judging and a winner for each will be chosen. Of course each day the teens will come home with 6 delicious cupcakes they have made in class to share with family and friends. Each day builds upon the other so we suggest your teen come to all four of the days for this teen camp.
The class runs Monday through Thursday. The flexibility is yours to choose the number of days that best fits your schedule and culinary interests.
