Chef Pam is excited to host a four day long cooking camp for teens. On the first day, the teens will learn knife skills/cuts and make two appetizers to enjoy with the food product they have cut. Day two, we will learn one of the five Mother Sauces that all Chefs have to learn in culinary school and make a savory food item with the sauce as well as learn how to grill a perfect chicken breast with the cross hatch marks ... #grilledchicken, #grillpan. Then the third day we will go to baking with creating the perfect cupcake and buttercream frosting. The culmination of the week for the teens will be a cooking competition where they will create a two course meal with a chicken breast for the entree and a unique flavored cupcake and frosting in teams of three. The Chef teaching and Sous Chef will judge a winner and everyone gets to enjoy their two course meal together. Come for one day, two day, three days or all four and participate in the final competition on day four!
Class is for ages 13-17y/o. Minimum of 8 teens required to hold class.
