Chef Pam is excited to share her love for Italian Cuisine after living in Italy for two years when she was stationed there as a Navy nurse. We will start out the evening learning how to make arancini, a risotto ball that has fresh mozzarella and pizelli stuffed inside and then breaded. The arancini is finished off with a fresh red sauce for garnish. Then on to preparing chicken saltimbocca, a popular dish consisting of minced sage with a slice of prosciutto and Italian cheeses on top. To accompany the chicken we will have carrot ribbons with leeks and roasted garlic, rosemary mashed potato. To end with a little something sweet everyone will help make individual tiramisu for dessert.
