Chef Pam is excited to offer a fun evening at the kitchen for a Hawaiian Luau menu of five small plates for our June Supper Club. We will explore the cuisine of the islands together as we start out with a chilled pineapple soup prepared with coconut milk for a delicious creaminess and garnished with a fresh pineapple wedge and cilantro. Our next course is a Hawaiian meatball skewer in a rich tomato, brown sugar and pineapple juice sauce along with grilled pineapple. The third course is poke garnished with watermelon radish, edamame, shredded nori, crispy onion and toasted sesame seeds. The fourth course is kalua pork slowly braised in banana leaves, served over a bed of luau rice with pineapple and crushed macademia nut and toasted coconut. We will finish off the evening with a little something sweet with the popular island haupi pie found all over Hawaii made with a buttery pie crust, a layer of coconut custard and another layer of chocolate, coconut custard and garnished with fresh whipped cream. Can you say, "Keu a ka ono?".
This is an evening where Chef Pam and her team do all the cooking and you sit back enjoy learning more about Hawaiian Cuisine. Doors open at 5:30pm and we will begin serving dinner at 6pm. A special "Island Mimosa" will be available for purchase as well as wine, beer and flavored seltzers.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a cooking class
