Chef Pam lived in Germany for a year and even made it to the Oktoberfest grounds as well as the Hofbrau Haus in Munich. She loves the German cuisine and learned to make the dishes from the locals in the little town of Landstuhl, Germany where she lived. We will start out by making kartoffelpuffer, a potato pancake garnished with an apple compote. Then on to the main entree creating the traditional Jaegerschnitzel, referred to as the hunter schnitzel. It begins with a pounded out and breaded boneless pork chop and then covered with a brown, mushroom gravy. To finish off the evening we will make mini German chocolate cakes with a little bit of a twist. Can you say, "Prost?".
